The ADX isn't as popular as some
other indicators, but does have some advantages.
The most advantageous use of the
indicator is when it climbs above 40 and then turns
down, as indicated by the arrows in the chart below.
This can mean the end to the
current trend. It doesn't necessarily mean the commodity
will change direction, although it could, but the price
could just become stagnant after a major trend.
